How to Use the Claritev Multiplan Network to Find a Provider
Questions about provider access, affordability, and continuity of care are often the first concerns people have when navigating an already confusing health insurance landscape. This comes into play even more when a business is considering different health coverage options.
At Meridio, we work with businesses of all sizes that are looking for a more flexible and supportive approach to employee health benefits. Many companies come to us after experiencing rising healthcare costs, limited plan options, or changes in traditional group health insurance coverage. Our goal is to simplify the process and help businesses find affordable health benefit solutions that employees can actually use and understand.
One of the ways we do that is through Meridio’s Core health benefit offering, which provides access to the Claritev PHCS network, one of the largest national provider networks in the country. This expanded provider access helps businesses offer more flexibility and confidence to employees when searching for doctors, specialists, and healthcare facilities.
If you are trying to confirm whether your provider is in-network or if you want to understand how to request access to a provider you already know and trust, we walk you through the process step by step.
Finding a Provider in the Claritev PHCS Network
Searching for a provider in the Claritev PHCS network is simple and can usually be completed in just a few minutes. You can search by:
- Doctor name
- Specialty
- Facility name
- Location
- Distance from your ZIP code
The Claritev PHCS directory allows members to browse a wide range of healthcare providers and facilities participating in the network.
To begin your search, visit Claritev Member Support and select “Looking for a doctor or hospital?” to search for participating providers and facilities within the network.
When searching, it is always a good idea to call the provider’s office directly to confirm they are currently accepting new patients and still participating in the network, as provider participation can occasionally change.
What if Your Doctor Is Not in the Network?
If your preferred provider does not currently appear in the Claritev PHCS network, that does not necessarily mean you need to start over with a new doctor.
In many cases, providers can be nominated for participation in the network. This process allows the network to reach out directly to the provider and explore potential participation opportunities.
Meridio’s team regularly helps businesses and members navigate this process so they are not left figuring it out alone. To nominate a provider, you will typically need:
- Provider or practice name
- Office address
- Phone number
- Specialty information
- National Provider Identifier (NPI), if available
To get started, visit Claritev Member Support and select “Invite your provider to join our network.” From there, you can submit your provider’s information for review and potential participation consideration.
While provider nominations are not guaranteed to result in participation, many businesses appreciate having an option to advocate for continuity of care with the providers they already trust.
Healthcare Benefits Should Not Feel Impossible to Navigate
Healthcare decisions can feel overwhelming, especially for businesses trying to balance affordability, employee satisfaction, and administrative complexity. At Meridio, we believe health benefits should feel more transparent, approachable, and manageable for employers and employees alike.
